What is a hydrosol?
Hydrosols are a byproduct of steam destillation of essential oils from plants. We conduct hot steam through the plant parts to extract the essential oil. The distillation water contains water soluble (hydrophilic) plant substances and a very small percentage of essential oil. This way the water preserves the typical scent of the plant, but is less strong. Therefore, you can use hydrosols directly on the skin, unlike essential oils.
Use
Use the green tea hydrosol as a lotion or apply with a compress. Rinse your hair with green tea hydrosol after washing it.
